# Part ID

`part_id` values are opaque identifiers (`pg_…`). Treat them as opaque in clients — do not parse or reconstruct them.

Also returned on some responses: `catalog_hash`, a stable fingerprint for the catalog identity. Prefer `part_id` for subsequent API calls.
