# Evidence

PartGenie persists L1 datasheet **claims** and L2 **engineering profiles** with `evidence_refs`.

## Intelligence — claims

`GET /v1/parts/{part_id}/claims?kind_prefix=limit.&limit=50`

Or `POST /v1/parts/claims` with `{ "mpn", "kind_prefix", "limit" }`.

Response includes `extract_status`, `datasheet`, and `claims[]` (`claim_id`, `kind`, `text`, `source.page`, …).

## Intelligence — engineering profile

`GET /v1/parts/{part_id}/engineering-profile?sections=pin_model,electrical_profile`

Missing profile returns HTTP 200 with `synthesis_status: "missing"|"pending"`.

## Alternatives + evidence

Default `include_evidence=false` omits the `evidence` object.
