# Collection / Favorites

> Save parts and conversations you care about for quick revisit

Use **Collection** (favorites) to keep MPNs, manufacturers, and useful threads close at hand—without digging through history.

## What you can save

* Components from search results or the component drawer
* Manufacturers you follow for brand browsing
* Conversations worth revisiting (selection / risk / design threads)

## How to save

1. Open a part card or drawer
2. Click the bookmark / save control
3. Find it later under **Collection** in the sidebar

From Collection you can jump back to the part, open datasheet chat, add to BOM, or start a follow-up question.

## Tips

* Prefer saving **canonical MPNs** after a Full Match, not ambiguous raw strings
* Pair Collection with [Knowledge](/en-US/knowledge) for files, and [Share](/en-US/share) when teammates need the same context
* For side-by-side evaluation, use [Compare / Alternatives](/en-US/alternatives) instead of only bookmarking
